Professional Experience
Dennis H. Jaskoviak Jr. joined the firm in 2002. Dennis has since diversified his practice to include litigation, arbitration, and patent prosecution.  He has experience with a wide range of technologies including medical devices, nuclear power generation, steam turbine drives, turbine generators, fresh water distillation, heat transfer devices, refuse collection devices, friction clutches, and chain and sprocket drives.

Recently, Dennis helped Cardinal Health defend its subsidiary, ALARIS Medical Systems in the Central District of California.  Dennis and his partners defeated a motion for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction, and ultimately prevailed by winning two summary judgment motions involving non-infringement and invalidity for lack of written description.  The case was ICU Medical, Inc. v. ALARIS Medical Systems, Inc., Civil Action No. SA CV 04-0689 MRP (VBKx) (C.D. Cal. 2004-07).

Prior to attending law school, Dennis served in the U.S. nuclear navy onboard the aircraft carriers Enterprise and Theodore Roosevelt.  Following an honorable discharge, Dennis supervised contract radiation protection personnel during refueling operations at various Com Ed nuclear plants in Illinois.  He also spent a summer as an engineering intern with Borg-Warner engineers in Bellwood, Illinois testing clutch friction plate configurations.
