Professional Experience
Gordon Lin joined the firm in 2009. His work at MH&M includes patent application drafting and patent prosecution support involving electronics and communication technologies.

After receiving the Ph.D., Gordon joined AT&T Bell Labs (now Alcatel-Lucent) where he worked on research and development for 5ESS digital telephone switches for PSTN and wireless telephone networks. His responsibilities included microprocessor-based and DSP-based hardware designs, firmware development, software development (C/UNIX), project management, and system testing. He also taught in-house courses for 5ESS development engineers. At AT&T Bell Labs, Gordon held positions as a Member of Technical Staff (MTS) and Supervisor (Technical Manager).

Prior to joining MH&M, Gordon worked as President and Lead System Engineer at the consulting firm which he founded, Lintel Communications. Throughout his career at Lintel Communications, Gordon has gained experience in a number of diverse technologies, including voice and data communications, broadband Internet services, cellular and wireless communications, IP PBX, Internet telephony, and satellite communications.

Gordon is the inventor of an issued U.S. patent. He has authored a number of publications in the professional literature and conferences. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and was a technical paper reviewer for the IEEE transactions on Computers.
