Professional Experience
Matthew A. Anderson is a partner at McAndrews, Held & Malloy, Ltd, specializing in patent litigation. Matt has a substantial amount of litigation experience, including briefing and arguing summary judgment motions, taking and defending numerous depositions, and managing complex discovery for clients large and small in venues throughout the country. Recently, Matt was part of a trial team responsible for securing a $63.75 million settlement on behalf of the firm’s client. Matt has experience with a wide range of technologies, including cellular communications, GPS systems, barcode printers, electronic lighting controls, light fixtures, medical devices, and specialty packaging.
Matt also has significant transactional experience, having performed due diligence investigations and drafted clearance opinions. Matt has counseled clients with regard to IP acquisitions involving hundreds of patents valued well over $100 million.
