Professional Experience
Pramod focuses his practice on strategic patent portfolio development, with an emphasis on patent prosecution in the Technology and Software industry.

In developing portfolios for clients, Pramod has drafted and prosecuted over 300 patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Pramod counsels clients in a variety of technology areas, encompassing analog and digital electronics, digital video, image processing, broadband, wired and wireless network protocols, client-server systems, computer security, optical and fibre communication, medical devices, computer architecture, mobile communications, micro-electromechanical systems, business methods and software.

Prior to attending law school, Pramod was a Research Assistant at the Center for Advanced Transportation Technologies at USC where he developed and simulated freeway corridor models to study the effect of alternative urban truck lanes and strategies to reduce congestion. Pramod also interned at the NASA sponsored Multidisciplinary Flight Dynamics and Control Lab, where he simulated the identification of aircraft dynamics using neural networks and worked on several aspects of Intelligent Flight Control.

Pramod was awarded the Dean’s Merit Scholarship to attend law school, during which he received several academic excellence awards, earned a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law, and served as an associate editor of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law.  Pramod was also inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi national honor society and received an academic achievement award for outstanding academic excellence by the International Students Assembly at USC.

Pramod is an active member of several professional organizations including Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE), American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA), American Bar Association (ABA), Chicago Bar Association (CBA), and Licensing Executives Society (LES).
