Professional Experience Pramod joined McAndrews, Held & Malloy in Aug 2004 as a Patent Advisor to provide technical support for patent prosecution in matters encompassing Electronics and Communication technologies. Pramod’s practice includes obtaining patent protection for clients by assessing the patentability of inventions, drafting and prosecuting patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He has drafted over a hundred patent applications in matters encompassing Electronics, Digital Video, Broadband, Wireless Networks, Optical and Fiber Communication, Bluetooth, RF, medical systems, and other areas of Electrical Engineering. During his graduate study, Pramod worked as a Research Assistant at the Center for Advanced Transportation Technologies at USC where he was involved in developing and simulating freeway corridor models to study the effect of alternative urban truck lanes and strategies to reduce congestion. During the summer of 2003, Pramod interned at the NASA sponsored Multidisciplinary Flight Dynamics and Control Lab, where he simulated the identification of aircraft dynamics using neural networks and worked on several aspects of Intelligent Flight Control. Pramod received a graduate research assistantship and an academic achievement award for outstanding academic excellence by the International Students Assembly at USC. He was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi national honor society and also received the National Merit Scholarship from the All India Secondary Board. Pramod is an active member of several professional organizations including Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE), American Bar Association (ABA) and American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA).
