Professional Experience
Stephanie Pall joined McAndrews, Held & Malloy as a law clerk in 2004 and as full time associate in 2006. Since then, Stephanie has gained experience in numerous facets of both patent and trademark litigation. She has worked on projects involving a variety of both legal and technological issues.
Stephanie graduated summa cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law. While in law school, Stephanie was a member of the University of Illinois Law Review where she served as the Writing Competition Coordinator. Stephanie’s student note, Willful Patent Infringement: Theoretically Sound? A Proposal to Restore Willful Infringement to its Proper Place within Patent Law, 2006 U. ILL. L. REV. 659 (2006), was selected as the best law review note at the College of Law. In addition to her involvement with law review, Stephanie received CALI Awards for superior academic achievement in the following classes: Contracts, Introduction to Advocacy, Civil Procedure I, Civil Procedure II, Family Law, Constitutional Law II, Elder Law, Estates & Trusts, and Complex Litigation. Stephanie also took and received high marks in a variety of intellectual property classes including: Patent Law; Patent Litigation; Patent Prosecution; Trademark & Unfair Competition; and Copyright law. In her third year, Stephanie received Rickert Awards for Excellence in Legal Writing and Excellence in Academics. The Rickert Awards Program is the most prestigious and extensive awards program at the College of Law. Upon graduation, Stephanie was elected into the Order of the Coif.
Before attending law school, Stephanie attended the University of Notre Dame where she majored in both Biology and Political Science. At Notre Dame, Stephanie gained valuable laboratory experience in the fields of Biology and Chemistry, including serving as a teaching assistant for the genetics lab. Stephanie was also elected into the Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society.
