Professional Experience
Stephen joined McAndrews, Held & Malloy as a summer associate in 2008 and as a full-time associate in 2010. During that time, he has assisted clients in various technological areas with:
• Patent and trademark litigation • International Trade Commission proceedings • Due diligence matters • Prosecution and acquisition of trademark rights
In law school, Stephen excelled in courses related to Intellectual Property law. He was elected to the Order of the Coif and was named to the Dean’s list each year. He also received other academic awards, including the Dean’s Academic Achievement Award, the ABA/BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Intellectual Property Law, and the Wisconsin State Bar / Law School Academic Achievement Award.
Additionally, Stephen served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Justice N. Patrick Crooks of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Prior to law school, Stephen worked for Accenture as an information technology consultant. During that time, he designed and implemented technical solutions for two agencies within the federal government.
